Artists and makers taking part include: Wellcome Trust prize winner Benji Reid, Manchester born mixed media landscape artist Sarah Connell and contemporary creative studio Lazerian. So, keep your eyes peeled, check all the windows and all the corners of Manchester and see what work you can spot!

Aid Workers: Ethics Under Fire

‘Ethics Under Fire’ brings together powerful stories from conflict countries and allows you to explore these challenges from an insider perspective. This will be displayed through photographs and unique objects – recorded and sourced specially for this exhibition. On your visit you’ll encounter objects and dilemmas you simply wouldn’t face in the safe living space we have that others don’t. In addition, on display are aid workers’ personal belongings and objects that lend a perspective into the conditions they face. It’s not you ordinary art work, but it’s something to push information and ethical concerns and thoughts to the viewer.

Your list seems to be lacking. PS Mirabel, Paper and Soft Spot (which you reviewed) are all open with new exhibitions. Show some support for artist led spaces, not just the institutions!

Hi Richard. Thanks for your feedback. We only list 5 on here, otherwise the list would be huge! Also, as you said, we have just reviewed the current exhibition at Soft Spot, which you can find on the blog. So we do support ALL art institutes in Manchester. Thanks for checking out the website!
